Why organic products are more expensive than the products from a market or a supermarket?
In order to certify products as organic, they must be grown, gathered, delivered and kept according to strict rules, and this considerably increases production expenses and raises product price.
For example:
♦ The lands, where the products are grown, must be “clean”; no chemical fertilizers should have been used on these lands 3 years, before the growing and in a course of it, that results in less crop capacity than that of the enterprises where such fertilizers are used.
♦ To struggle with plant pests we use only natural methods (noise, light, special temperature conditions and physical barrier).
♦ When storing meat, the use of antibiotics and growth hormones is forbidden;
♦ Many kinds of agriculture methods are performed manually, to avoid damaging plants and soil.
